Our Mission Statement
“Eagle Academy Christian School prepares Pre-K-8th grade students in the surrounding communities to be innovative scholars, exemplify excellence in Math, Language Arts & Reading, uphold strong Christian values and prepare students for college-preparatory high schools.”
Our Vision Statement
The initial and guiding vision of Eagle Academy Christian School is to promote the concept that all children can learn when they are challenged, supported, respected and motivated. We, at Eagle Academy, strongly believe that every child is capable of learning. If children don’t learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn. We want to produce skilled readers, writers and problem solvers.
Our Core Values
At Eagle Academy we develop Pre-K-8th students who will be able to live the “Victorious Life” by adhering to the following four principles:
- DISCIPLINE is the cornerstone of hard work. Without discipline, your hard work lacks the consistency it needs to grow and develop. The first step to building your own personal discipline will be your ability to keep working hard and consistently to achieve your goals. You must have the discipline of consistent repetition. A simple first step to implement discipline in your life is scheduling. Something as basic as showing up on time demonstrates discipline.
- ACCOUNTABILITY helps you evaluate yourself.
- TENACITY is the ability to consistently endure failure or hardship and keep moving forward. Students need to toughen up. We learn that failure is part of the game. Teachers need to follow up a student’s failures with both negative feedback and positive reinforcement. The problem arises when failure is combined with negative reinforcement and no progress. This can be especially difficult for young children, teenagers, and adults with poor self-confidence. There will be many obstacles in your life that will knock you down. Your ability to get back up will determine how far you get. If you are tenacious, you will be successful, because if you keep trying you will eventually succeed…But they will help you grow and they will help you build self-confidence.
- CONFIDENCE: people with self-confidence can go almost anywhere and do anything. They succeed because they are willing to try. It is an important ingredient to success. Confidence leads to risk taking-sensible risk taking-and risk taking leads one to try new things. After all, if you do not try, how can you succeed? If you always do the same old thing, how can you grow?
