EACS Curriculum

Eagle Academy Christian School provides a Christian, warm, safe and caring environment for our students. We offer a Christian based curriculum entitled ABEKA as well as Creative Curriculum. This curriculum offers math, writing, phonics, literature, science, God’s word and more.

The curriculum guides the teacher’s role in addressing content in literacy, math, science, social studies, the arts and technology. The curriculum is based on theories and research to serve each student individually including those who have special needs or are English language learners. Other resources are integrated within the curriculum as needed.

Eagle Academy Christian School is a not-for-Profit Christian primary and elementary school. EACS currently serve students in PreK-3 to 8th grade. The school day hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday for all grade levels. We also offer Before School Care beginning at 6:00am and After School Care to 6:00pm. The parents of EACS should bring their children to school each morning no later than 8:25am. Doors open at 8:15am for those not enrolled in BSC.

Teachers use a variety of formal and informal strategies (including conversations) to become acquainted with and learn from students about their family structure and practices.

Our goal is to meet the students where they are and move them forward. Primarily, our aim is to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that accommodates and embraces differences.

Each day a hot/cold lunch is available to those students who choose to participate in our meal program which requires an additional fee. These meals are cooked by a staff member certified in food service and sanitation by the State of Illinois. As an integral part of our program, nutrition and meal preparation is considered with utmost care and concern for the students. All children enrolled in the EACS childcare program (CCAP) will be provided breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack with no additional fees. * See Food Program for more information.
